Common questions

How do I save something?

Open the share sheet on a screenshot, an Instagram post, a tweet, a TikTok or a link, and choose RainCheck. That is the whole interaction. The card appears in the app a moment later.

Why can't RainCheck see my photo library?

Because it never asks for it. RainCheck only ever receives the individual items you deliberately send through the share sheet. This is deliberate, not a limitation — see the Privacy Policy.

A card came back with the wrong category or wrong details.

You can correct the category from the card itself, and re-run enrichment with the retry button. If it keeps coming back wrong, email us the screenshot's title and what it should have been.

My save is stuck, or nothing appeared.

Open the app and leave it in the foreground for a few seconds — processing finishes there. If the item still does not appear, check that you are connected to the internet and try sharing it again.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose RainCheck. Cancelling there stops the renewal; your access continues until the end of the paid period.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting a card removes it from your device and from your iCloud library. To remove everything held on our side, email us from the address associated with your account and we will delete it. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is held and for how long.

Does RainCheck sync between my devices?

Yes, through your own private iCloud account, if iCloud is enabled on your devices. We have no access to that library.
